The Construction is Finished

Yes it's true, we are finished. There are small things like some paint touch-ups and power washing the garage floor, etc. But all the big important things are done and we are using the rooms. So here are the latest pictures. We still need to get some furniture and art work but we plan on taking our time.

Welcome to Our New Home!

Our front door. The picture isn't stretched, it is a large over sized door.

This a the chair I bought. It's called a Lunar chair but I call it the snuggle chair, because you cannot sit on it. You must kick your shoes off and crawl in. We love it.



And across from the living room, is the dining room.


I just LOVE the lights we picked. I walked into the showroom and the minute I saw these I knew they would be perfect. Oh and how about that $300 solid mahogany table (from Craigs List). It's 90" fully expanded and fits the room perfectly.


A place to relax and enjoy food and conversation with friends and loved ones.



And now HERE is David's new home.


Yes it is a 4 car garage. He was the envy of all the construction workers. This garage is cavernous. Plenty of room for 2 cars, a truck and additional storage (read boxes of yarn LOL). This weekend he is working on installing peg boards so he can hang all his tools.

Did you notice, that is my car on the right. I now feel like I really live here.
