Perfect Button Found

Sometimes it takes about as long to find the perfect button as it does to knit the garment. The buttons can really make or break the whole look.

So when I went to get a button for the wrap I made for my friend Maurine, I called my friend Cathy to go with me. She is awesome at putting colors and designs together. And look what Cathy found! The perfect button for the wrap.


I had searched all the button racks and didn't find anything I liked. But Cathy kept looking and searched behind all the button cards and found this button.

I wouldn't have found this button if Cathy hadn't been with me. THANKS CATHY!

This button is perfect because Maurine lives in Colorado and I only get to see her about every other year. But each day I want her to know that I am her friend and I love her.

When she wears it, I hope she feels like I'm giving her a hug.
