I didn't enter the Knitting Olympics, but I did finish an Olympic project (started and knitted while watching the Olympics). I cast this on the night Stitches West finished; Feb. 19th, which was the beginning of the second week of the Olympics. I had to start over TWICE because the directions are misleading and there isn't a picture of the back or a diagram. 
I though the wrap was symmetrical. It was right before I frogged this for the second time that I notice, that the back corner of the wrap was three squares long (you could just barely see this in the picture in the magazine), which meant this garment was asymmetrical. So my real start was the night of Feb. 21st. This is a birthday present for my friend, Maurine. Her birthday is Feb. 22nd, but I hadn't found anything I really thought she would love until now.Maurine, Happy Belated Birthday. This will be coming your way as soon as I get a button.
