Three Sleeves

I've finished the fronts and back of the Manos Cotton Sweater. I really love it. Can't wait to finished and wear this. The cotton yarn is so soft and wonderfully light weight. The color is so much prettier than this picture. Both the purple and aqua are much lighter in color.

Oh and look, I finished one sleeve too! It was so easy and fun to knit. Since I had already done the fronts and back, of course I knew what I was doing. Laa La-La....

Wow, this would be great except that when I cast on the the second sleeve, I actually read the sleeve directions carefully and guess what!!?!! The sleeves are purple and black only!!!! No aqua! Which explains why the pattern told me to buy 2 balls of aqua and 3 balls of purple. (Smack head with hand!)

So here is the start of the 2nd sleeve of a 3 sleeve sweater! And I will have to frog the 1st sleeve, because I don't have enough black to knit 3 sleeves.

I did finish one other project (and correctly I wish to add). This is the intarsia panel baby blanket for charity. The yarn is Encore and had long color changes. By doing intarsia panels, I got nice wide stripes. I just love this colorway.

Or you could just buy more yarn -- in fact I'd make another striped sleeve and sew them together to make a hat...of course, I'd never where it in public...
