Well it's been a long time since I blogged. It's not because I've been in a coma (LOL). No I have been busy teaching a beginning knitting class, going to Las Vegas with Dana, and knitting Christmas gifts (I have two finished and am working on a third). Since at least one person I am making a Christmas gift for, tells me they read this blog, there will not be any pictures of these gifts until Jan. Not to worry, there will be pictures of knitting before then. Over the long weekend, my plan is to finish two projects (sweater that need sewing up) and get a picture of the latest project that is for me. This week I taught the last of an eight week beginning knitting class. It was so fun to do and all the students did so well. Today Kaveri, one of my students, sent me a picture of her first finished FO. Isn't it just wonderful! This is the drop stitch pattern written by Lorna Miser and the yarn is Tahki, New Tweed.
Since I have no knitting of my own I can share, I'll show you pictures from my trip to Vegas. Dana had this great idea of how to document our trip.
Much thanks to Dana not only for going with me but for taking all the pictures!

| Here we are checking into the Bellagio. That night we ate dinner at the Venetian where we saw Blue Man Group. |
|
| Day two, off to the Bellagio spa for a pedicure. |
|
| After a wonderful pedicure, we had lunch in Paris (just love writing that) and then we went shopping. |
|
| Across from the spa was this! A chocolate fountain. Totally amazing. I so wanted to stand in it with my mouth open. | |
| Our feet love the view from our room! We are dressed and ready to go see O. |
|
| Day three, we had breakfast at New York New York, went shopping, and met my Aunt downtown where we had dinner at Center Stage. Here we are, on the last night, with Teller after the seeing Penn and Teller at the Rio. |

| The atrium in the Bellagio. The Bellagio is known for its blown glass. These poppies are all made of glass! |
