So now what should I do?

At 2007 Stitches West, Jane Sowerby (the author of Victorian Lace Today) is the keynote speaker. Julie, Jocelyn, and I decided that we would knit something from the book and wear it on opening day. I choose the Alpine pattern and used some 100% cashmere from my stash.

I started it a week before Christmas. My office is shut down between Christmas and New Years and I worked on this project most of the time.

I've knitted about 2/3 of the wrap. In this picture I've pinned it a bit so the design shows.

Oh I also made this hat out of Rowan Tapestry yarn (70% wool & 30% soy) using the Tweed Beret pattern from Interweave Knits Winter 2006.



AND I received my first knitted gift. My mother in-law, Pat, knitted me a pair of socks. She really rocks!!!
