Christmas Gifts of 2006

I knitted 5 presents this year and now I can show them. The pictures are that great. BUT I received a new camera for Christmas, so maybe my pictures will improve. (However, I think the problem is not with the camera.)
This is the shrug I knit for Maurine, my friend in Colorado. It's made of Tahki New Tweed (70% merino, 15% silk, 11% cotton, and 4% viscose) using the Iris Wrap in Interweave Knits Summer 2005. The only change I made was I used buttons instead of the large tie the pattern called for.

I made three Judy Pascale shapely Beaded Shawlettes.

The first was for Pat, my mother in-law, which is black Koigu (which my friend Jocelyn helped me overdye) with emerald beads.

The second was for Marti, my sister in-law, it is made with Shelridge Farms Soft Touch Ultra and pearl beads.

The last was for my sister, it was made with with Shelridge Farms Soft Touch Heather and opal beads.

This last gift was a beaded scarf for my friend Karin. This is the pattern called April by Shallow Hill Creations. It's made of rayon thread and iridescence beads.
