Awesome Friend

My friend Jocelyn (http://fiberdev.blogspot.com/) is an AWESOME friend. She works full time as a software engineer, has two girls under the age of 10, she spins, dyes, knits, crochets, weaves, and makes bobbin lace and jewelry. With all of that, last winter, she dropped everything she was doing and dyed yarn for me (twice!) so that I could finish a cardigan designed by Maggie Jackson that I wanted to model at Stitches West 2005. Here we are in our cardigans.

This weekend she came to my house to help me use my Bond knitting machine. And look what I finished! A drop stitch poncho (pattern by Lorna Miser) made of Schaefer "Laurel" 100% mercerized pima cotton yarn. I am leaving for New York tomorrow and wanted to make this poncho so I could take it.

Oh and she helped me setting up this blog!

She is the best kind of friend. Thanks Jocelyn for your friendship and help. You are the greatest.

With friends like these, you need nothing else.
