Beaded Shawlette Workshop

This weekend one of the women in my knitting group, Fae, taught a workshop on Judy Pascale's beaded shawlette. We bought the pattern from eBay and Fae gathered orders and bought the beads from Caravan Beads.

Everyone brought food and knitted. It was really very fun. Here is what mine looks like so far. (After starting over 4 times, grrrrrrrrrrrrr.)

I've also been working on my Lace Panel sweater by Sally Melville. This is the one I plan to wear on opening day at Stitches West. I'm thinking about modeling it at the Student banquet. I have the front, back, and one sleeve finished and the last sleeve is 3/4s done.

And speaking of Stitches West. I have most of my homework finished. But I only had to make 4 swatches. I'm starting to get excited. It's only 2.5 weeks away. I work two blocks away from the convention center and I swear the week before I can just feel the yarn being moved into the building. It calls to me..... LOL

Don't forget to call me when the yarn calls you -- I can't hear it over the the airport noise...;)
