Here is what I bought.
The yarn in the upper left is for gifts. I can't say more because it might spoil a surprise. The pink balls are from The Rug and Yarn Hut and the skeins are from one of my favorite vendors Shelridge Farms. The fairisle kit (in the center) from Great Yarns is for me!
There is sock yarn and a slip stitch sock pattern from Ellen's 1/2 Pint Farms (my very favorite vendor).
The skein right below the sock pattern is from Brooks Farm and will be a scarf. The green ball below that is also for a scarf. You can't see it but it has the most wonder color changes.
On the right, the pink multi-colored is for a tank.
The three skeins below the pink multi-colored is also from Ellen's and is silk and tencel. Really wonderful yarn. I don't know what this yarn wants to be yet, but I just could resist (and didn't try very hard).
The yarn labeled with a 2 is for this sweater from Interweave Knits magazine. I'm planning on making the decorative buttons from silver art clay. The two skeins below 2 are the same color way. One is 100% silk and the other is silk and merino. I bought these and the yarn labeled 2 and 3 from Webs.
The yarn labeled 3 is for the Sally Melville sweater called Shared Borders from her Color book.
The yarn labeled 1 was a surprise. Monday after Stitches, I dumped all my yarn out and sorted it, and found this ball. I didn't select this ball and since I dumped all the yarn, I don't know which bag it fell out of. I haven't checked all my receipts to see if I was charged for it. I suspect that this ball fell into one of my bags while I was shopping. There were lots of knitters grabbing and looking at yarn, and balls were always falling to the floor.

Bring the green ball tonight I want to see it up close. I don't know Cris, there's an awful lot of pink there...
I absolutely cannot wait to see the sweater from Interweave Knits! From the picture it looks like it may be one of my all time favorites. And how fun is it to make your own buttons! I can't wait to see them.
