One Down One to Go

This weekend I finished my Rowan Foxtail sweater.

The pattern is from the Rowan Tapestry Collection book.

Notice the pin I have on the sweater. I bought this a Stitches this year from Black Water Abbey. It's sterling silver.

A friend and I are planning a trip to NY this fall. And as a surprise I'm making her a Foxtail sweater too. In this color.

I bought pins that have 5 loops from Firemountain Gems. I'm going to add beads to these pins and make one to match each of the sweaters.

I also worked on my Tilted Duster. All I have left to do is seam the sleeves and sew them in (there weren't any side seams) and sew on the buttons. I blocked it last weekend.

I leave on vacation this Thursday (we are going to Miami for 6 days Woo HOO).

I've decided to take the merino/cashmere yarn I bought at Stitches this year and get started on my Christmas scarves. A scarf is the perfect traveling project.

The Foxtail looks great. Good colorway for you. I like the idea of personalizing the pins. Very neat.
