Well figuring out a new "fix, frogging, and reknitting sleeves didn't really excite me so I put it in the time-out corner, where projects with problems go to live until I figure out a solution or feel guilty enough to work on figuring out a solution. Time-out corner can be anywhere that's out of my way. This particular project ended up tossed on the corner of my craft table until I needed to clear the table to set up my knitting machine. I tossed the pieces on the sewing machine table, which is where it was when Jocelyn came to help me make the knitting machine poncho.
We were looking at all my yarn and "stuff" in my craft room when I picked the jacket up and said, "Ya and here's a project with issues. I can't get the sleeves in. I think I need to reknit the sleeves. I must have made some kind of mistake."
One sleeve was mostly sewn in but didn't fit. Jocs picked up the other sleeve and pinned it in with no problem. It was obvious. I had made an assumption, which I didn't even realize I had made, about needing to line up the pacha sections, so the sleeve didn't fit.
So now the jacket is finished; just in time for cooler weather.
BIG THANKS TO JOCELYN.

You're welcome! It's like anything else we do -- sometimes you need someone else to see what you don't.
