Catching Up

Well my life has settled down and I feel like getting back to blogging. I am still unemployed and will be for about 3 years because I've decided to go back to school and get my AA degree in Ultrasound.

So now I go to school, study, and teach knitting at Green Planet Yarns and for Adult Education.

The next few post will be the projects I've finished since August. First some scarves.

This is Luce from Norah Goughan Vol. 1. It's made with Berroco Pure Merino Nuance. I gave this to Vicky (a friend of Cate's because she liked it so much. I loved this yarn. It's super soft and I love the slow color change. When adding new balls, I did some splicing so the color change would continue correctly.

This is Parallelograms Scarf by Lynn Barr from her Knitting New Scarves book. It's made with Wool in the Woods Dunluce.

This is my favorite scarf. It is so soft and I love the color. The true color is shown in the picture of the yarn. These are All the colors I love. The yarn is handspun and from www.alltheprettyfibers.etsy.com and the pattern is the Drop Stitch Scarf by Christine Vogel.

This is a crocheted scarf. It was a crochet-along monitored by Diana. The original patten had beads only in the fringe, but I added beads all through the scarf. This is the La Mer scraf by Sheryl Means done in Fiesta Yarns La Luz Multi, which is 100% silk and just wonderful.

This scarf is knit with Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks that Rock - Heavyweight. The pattern is Bias Scarf by Maia Discoe. Again the true colors are shown in the picture of the yarn.
